Environmental Wastewater Solutions (EWwS) Ltd can offer feasibility, various process design options with optimised capital cost, operational cost and lowest total cost of ownership. EWwS would also provide the necessary site based support on an ongoing basis to assist the operators achieve the most from their equipment. The process selection would be based on client preference and our recommendations to suit overall objectives set in the project brief.
All tanks have a standard water depth of 1000mm but can be adjusted higher or lower to suit the site requirements. For individual drawings please contact EWwS Ltd.
EWwS can also provide treatment using suspended growth activated sludge process (ASP) system where the client’s preference for the secondary treatment requires it. EWwS offer energy efficient surface mounted dual mode processors (fine bubble aeration with total reactor content mixing). The ASP can be configured as either conventional or extended aeration plants (CSTR), SBR and oxidation ditch. The treated effluent quality can be matched with environmental objectives set by the regulators.
EWwS can provide a combination of fixed film and activated sludge processes combined to extract the advantageous features of both the technologies for flexibility, lower energy requirements, lower sludge production and lower operational labour costs. EWwS use NIFAS® (Non-integrated fixed film activated sludge) system to reduce carbon footprint, capital cost, operational cost and achieve nutrient reduction with high quality discharge for sensitive receiving waters.
EWwS have introduced an innovative sludge dewatering system for dewatering biological sludges from aerobic wastewater treatment processes, anaerobic reactors, DAF systems and solid precipitators to generate a cake with dry solid content of > 35%. The innovative aspect is that the EWwS press does not use electrolytic flocculants to aid the sludge dewatering process, but instead use natural organic additive. This enables the sludge to be used as a fuel or a manure subject to regulatory approval.
